Best charter fishing experience ever! We took our teenage grandsons out with 716 Charters and couldn’t be happier with the choice. The captain and crew worked hard the entire trip, and it definitely paid off — while other boats were struggling, we were reeling in fish. In fact, two other captains even called ours to ask if we were having any luck! We went out the first week of October hoping to catch salmon on Lake Ontario — mission accomplished!

We had an incredible day with great friends, an excellent boat, and an outstanding captain and crew! While other boats were struggling, ours found the fish and guided us perfectly to keep the lines tight. We only lost three all day and had our limit within about four hours. Fantastic job by the whole team!

After a week of high winds and a flipped lake, conditions were tough. The weather on charter day was perfect, but every captain was working hard to find the fish. Our captain and first mate gave it their all, and it paid off. After plenty of stories and good fishing vibes, my 11-year-old nephew hooked into a monster Coho 300 feet out. Fourteen minutes later, he landed a catch we’ll never forget. Huge thanks for an unforgettable day!

This was by far the best fishing charter experience I’ve had. My kids had a blast with Matt and Josh—they felt totally at ease while reeling in the biggest fish they’ve ever caught. I had a great time too, wearing myself out on some solid trout. If you’re looking for a top-notch, professional charter, 716 Sportfishing is the way to go. Easily the best choice out there!

Matt and Josh are fantastic guides. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a successful fishing trip. We landed 4 fish and lost 1. As first-timers fishing for Great Lakes salmon, we were really pleased with the experience. We’re definitely planning to fish with them again.
